The snow we had has now sadly departed as temperatures went above zero.
Apparently it's due to dip below freezing again next week.

I made the mistake once of moaning that we pedestrians were funding gritting of roads and lo n behold that year and that year only they attached little grit dispensers to the back of the council litter hoovering machines,so they gritted as they hoovered. |

We have had heavy frost but no snow as yet but it is promised

It's meant to get cold again down south Native Spirit so there may well be snow. It lasted quite a few days here.

Im in the North on high ground. it said last year was very warm hot even,
it may have been in the south but not here.

Big John - that is A LOT of snow! Apparently the UK had a really vicious winter in 1962/63 as my mum used to talk about it. I wish I'd been there to see it, although it would have been horrendous for people.

Yes, I’m an Aussie with Cornish, Irish roots..I like the cold more so than heat.
Sounds like the snowfall for you was short lived. Enjoy the change.
