Kindness is the greatest wisdom

All this talk of religion, but it's how you live your life that is the all-important thing.
If you set out each day to do all the goodness and kindness that you can, and to do no harm to man or beast, then you are walking the highest path.
And when your time is up, if you can leave the earth a better place than you found it, then yours will have been a life well lived.

Pain is still pain, suffering is still suffering, regardless of whoever, or whatever, is the victim. Everything is worthy of kindness.

No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves
- Amelia Earhart

I don't regret the things I've done. I regret the things I didn't do when I had the chance.
