Even if individual virtual particles where somehow connected to the proton and so then were specific to the atom....that connection then becomes the issue.
As it is a connection between what we can observe and what we cannot.

Religion began with the idea that the Universe included only the Earth, Sun and Moon as so in relation to size it was some equivalent....things have changed since then....
