In other news I'm trying my best to keep up with the African nations cup but it's difficult when you can't actually watch it.
Looking at the group tables is hardly the same !!!!!
Senegal are the existing champions but the most successful team overall is Egypt with 7 titles under their belt.
Looking at all the teams I would love Tanzania to do well, but they are currently bottom on goal difference ! But it's never over till it's over .
Mind you, it's win-win in one sense for me given that I love all the African countries/ teams .

Yay! Two good wins for us in a row…….Norwich and last night Chelsea…………no Salah……no problem….lol

Look out for a little kid who has just come thru the ranks called Connor Bradley. Absolutely brilliant. Reminds me of a young Stevie Gerrard.

ManCity still behind us yahoooo!

That's great Red.
Haha, are you mentally trying to slowly let go of Salah if you think he might be going !
I'll keep an eye out for the youngster .

Yep I reckon Salah will leave at the same time. He’s starting to slow down now compared to the fast paced youngsters coming thru. Leaving whilst your on top is better than leaving when you’re not doing well. He’s a smart man and I think he can see the writing on the wall.

Yep watch out for that young lad Connor Bradley. Absolutely amazing and only 20!

He’s been really impressive these past 2 games, but that’s because he’s an unknown quantity at the moment.

Yes, Man City are waking up now and look like going on one of their long winning runs, so watch out. You’ll have to beat them in the head-to-head game to have any chance of winning the league.

Just been studying the table, still so very tight at the top . I see Arsenal have crept up again and so have spurs.
I still fancy Liverpool for the title.
Meanwhile at the bottom, I see Everton have slipped back down to last 3 again playing leapfrog with Luton but only a point between them.
Only disadvantage for Luton that I can think just now is that they are still in FA cup and therefore playing more games.

Yep it’s very close at the top of the league. Hold be anyone’s really. I would love us to win it so Klopp can leave with a smile on his face and feel good about what he achieved.

I feel sorry for the next manager coming in cos it’s gonna take a helluva lot to fill Klopps shoes. There is mostly talk of Xavi Alonso, who used to play for us under Benitez and he would certainly fit into the “Liverpool way”. But he’s tied up with Leverkusen so I don’t think that is possible. I hope they don’t decide on Gerrard cos I just don’t think he’s ready yet, he needs a lot more managerial experience. Oh well interesting times ahead.

Aww I hope Everton don’t get relegated. It would be a real shame, but Lutonnis really looking good this season.

Yep your right SIrNeil is is only two games for young Bradley but as long as he doesn’t get injured there is a bright future ahead of him.

Yep I think LFC vs Man City will probably be the deciding factor for me, unless we do something really stupid.

Sunday….Liverpool vs Arsenal……that should be a cracker of a game. Looking forward to it.

Luton are my team’s sworn enemy, so I am loathed to praise them, but I think credit where it’s due. They started the season quite poorly, but since then they have learned to stay in games and scrap for points, often getting them late on. Of the promoted teams, I feel that they are the most likely to stay up because of this. The trick will be to keep this going until the end of the season, and not just have a ‘bubble’ of good form in the middle of the season, as Leicester did last year.

Big game on Sunday Arsenal vs Liverpool ... could be an excellent game with
what's at stake and both teams starting to hit form. Liverpool's form seems better so hoping it will translate into a Victory for the Pool.

Sir Neil.... It's very noble of you to give credit where it's due against sworn enemy , and we all have them don't we in football? But it's all friendly rivalry and not malicious . I know none of us on here are hooligans !!!!!
