You open my chest to You to a point
Of almost unbearableness....
Then, You let me get distracted raking.
Then, You bring my thoughts back to You so
That I can hardly walk across a room.
You show me life with You and then without You!
How You torment me from minute to minute.

The mind....the thoughts...the emotions...
Nothing here matters...this is the point of
Realization one gets to eventually...the point of seeing
The Illusion....the atoms that come together and appear
As a table or a ceiling or a tree or a person or my dog.
They aren't...they are all You ...
The Great Cosmic Shapeshifter...everywhere...all things
Conscious...alive...breathing...why bother
Focusing on anything here...why bother feeling much of anything
About this place...when it is all just You...You are the actor...
You are the stage...You are the audience and You are the stadium.
This is what gets us into mental institutions, so thanks a lot, Lord.

Just as I love to rewind a scene...
And see a DVD many times...
That is just like You!
You never seem to get bored watching the same person,
Let alone billions of us make the same mistakes and fall in love
Over and over and over again..
You savor each moment of our lives...
Yet, what You love best are the love scenes.
