The 'Narene' Lilly survived the intense heat of this summer in my garden ... they last longer than some other lillies which is great ... resilience!

Hey hey Squatchy xx that shot turned out ok for a jag! lol ...
Here are a few i took through this week ... an 'elephant ear' leaf about to unfold / some sort of nest which i think may be a hornets ... wasn't game to stick my nose too close lol ... a common old fly which i think are adorable lol and 2 caterpillars who all but destroyed the plants i found them on lol ... one looks a little like a train from the front and the other one has the most gorgeous 'fake' eyes on his side ... to fool his predators i suppose ... when i look at them i can see where they get the ideas for cartoon characters ...

I heard the sound of rain and looked out my window
But became asorbed by the pane itself
As droplets formed and fell togther in little rivulettes
Rolling down the glass
It appears as though I'm looking through it
But gaze remains on the border
Which seperates the inside from the out
The window is rarely watched
