Well.. it's been several days, and I can honestly say I haven't seen or felt anything associated with this guide. When I asked my teacher guide (the only one I know) for signs last year, I saw his name in daily life, saw him in other dreams, kicked a nail on the carpet in the dark one night... And it all seemed to make sense. It fit.

I ask for signs from these supposed guides and I get nothing. I ask for signs from the one guide I meet in a dream and everything falls into place.

Maybe you're just overlooking the obvious, Evaah.

That doesn't make me feel any better, Xan.

The guide I know - his signs were obvious! How often do you hear the word/name Spike? (Nails on the carpet.. that was a cute one.)

Why can't my other guides be that obvious? You would think they would show signs in similar ways, but I guess they want to be unique even in the spirit world.

Oh... I guess what was obvious to me isn't really.

What I meant was, if people have told you about all these guides but you don't experience their presence in some way it's obvious to me that either the people were mistaken, or that it's not the right time. So to me the obvious thing is to stop worrying about it and let go.

I do trust the guides and their sense of how and when and what they do with me... and I trust my own sense of things more than what any other human says.

(Weren't we talking about trust regarding this issue a week or so ago?)

Yes, that's true.. but isn't it sort of weird that no one picked up on the same "guide"? I would hate to doubt their abilities, but... I don't know. Some people say to "ask a medium" if you want to know who your guide is, but how do you know if the medium actually connected with your guide?

Hmm.. it's not so much "worry" as it is just a desperate desire to connect. I don't know. There was a stage when I just stopped thinking about guides and instead focused directly on the Creator - but then I became spiritually disconnected, and it was back to square one. Ohoho. Very exciting.

(Yes, I do believe we were discussing that. I'm sorry. I'm still young and inexperienced, so it's easy to be told "Oh, don't worry about it. Stop stressing. It'll come in time.." I guess it just frustrates me that I know they're there but I don't know how to access them yet. It's sort of like knowing a pot of gold is sitting on your roof but you don't have a ladder to get it...)

Yes! I guess it's just important to trust that it will happen when it's meant too.
