Keeping the thread alive.
I went for a walk along the foreshore of Lake Macquarie today, which is not far from my home ... it was quite overcast but nothing could take away from the beauty of one of the largest coastal lakes in Australia ... I set out to pay attention to detail ... some of these flowers are no bigger than my thumbnail :)

Gorgeous photos Kate - I love the bleeding heart - absolutely stunning. I can't wait for spring to spring here - and we've still got at least another two months to go............... waaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!
Therefore, I will cheat and use Google. I do love the pretty buttercup.

WOW ... have you been practicing. Excellent shots! (I love photos of the living past their prime on the way out ... flowers do it so gracefully)

Oh, sound, wonderful shots!!
I've got a 'beet cake' in the oven. Never made one before, but I tasted some a few weeks back without knowing what it was, gosh, it was delicious.
Anyway, back on topic...I'll have time in the next month or so to take pictures again. I'm getting all excited. woohoo.
