the healing touch of time

i sing my sorrows through the gentle wind
a silent call and answer to my mental song
each word a thorn embedded in my mind
each line another journey, hard and long

i sing my sorrows through the gentle breeze
and through the channel to my heart i find
a glowing light so gentle, unobstructed
now releasing, flowing through the mind

it beckons me, it beckons, mind
becoming silent, unbecoming
heart, still beating, soothing repetition
captured, healing, guided by
the soothing breeze of beating
wings

i sing my sorrows
to the gentle hands of
time
i sing my transformation
now to beckon silence
heal my broken
spirit

i sing to become
the nothingness within
a silent call and answer
to the healing hands
of the hissing wind

i feel
the soothing breeze of
beating wings
i seal my sorrows now
renewed, i spread my
beating wings and fly
