The Christ.

The Christ is my conscience and yours. How can this not be? The conscience is Christ. Whatsoever others cleave to let that be their way. Cleave unto your own Christ, it has been placed there as a guide. The Christ has come from the Father and is the only true part of Man.

Be ready respond to the constant flux; to your centre stay true. What then is the centre? The centre is the small quite voice. Be still. Hear the small voice, listen to its wise council, be calm quench not the thirsty throat. Allow the storm to rage, do your meagre bit to calm the raging surf. Do not take on the responsibilities of others (The storm is the combined consciousness of others), instead decide who you are in relation to the storm. Be true to all that is known by yourself. It will be enough. More than…

Even the forces of nature: The thunder and rain can not disturb the one who has found sanctuary within the inner temple. Within the quite place there is peace, there is merely a gentle breeze. Other than this pleasing breeze, the temple is still and quite, no storm rages within, no tempest disturbs the lowly personage within. He beckons to all that seek comfort and sanctuary. Let us not forget his wise council, let us be likened unto Him.

The Christ within Man has been given by God and is the only true possession, the only incorruptible piece. Only they who listen to the quite voice can set themselves free. Through the developed conscience all things which are good can come. By listening and acting upon the quite voice we can transmute the misguided values, we can transform them into glorious virtues. Only through our will can the Father manifest in our lives, only through our thoughts and listening spirits can we hope to lift our hearts long enough to receive inspiration.

All souls have been placed here to unfold the Christ within. The Christ within men and women is a flower that is in a constant state of unfoldment. Within each unfolding petal a new experience happens in our external reality. Humility, repentance, and appreciation are some of the glorious fruits awaiting us.

.XXV.

Repentance.

Repentance is a fruit perceived by many to be bitter – only the outer casing of the fruit is unpalatable, within the protective layer the tender morsel is fair.

I liken repentance to an orange. An orange, when the peel is removed, becomes kind to the tongue and lips. The peel is shred in increments, one segment at a time. Repentance then becomes a pleasing experience. Instead of being considered a burden, repentance can be a delight and viewed as an aid.

Repentance is born through a willingness to be honest. The consequences of our life are a result of our thoughts, feelings and actions or lack of them. Also, the thoughts, feelings and actions of humanity as a whole play a part and have an impact on the individual. We are never given too much to bear, we are never given more than our fair share, though often it seems so. We must decide who we are. Who we were and who we want to be and act accordingly. The way life is organised is for our benefit, our Divine Father/Mother is continuously attempting to help us turn our lives around, trying to wake us up to ourselves and to our own power.

Repentance in the traditional sense does not really exist. In the old way of thinking it was possible to sin against God. The idea of sin is an inaccurate one. When one uses the word sin one makes a value judgement, one supposes that there is a right and a wrong. We believe, (In our ignorance) that God has created certain rules and to break those rules is to incur wrath. God has given us complete free will. We can freely choose whatever we desire to be, whatever we choose to do without incurring any wrath from God. To allow us to have free choice, and then punish us for expressing this choice, would be to make a mockery of free will. What is the point of giving humanity free will and then prevent him from expressing it? There are only natural consequences from that which we think, feel and do. The consequences are there that we may come to know ourselves. For God to have a preference one way or another and to express this preference to us would be to interfere with our free will. If this were to happen our lives would become a product of our own will, rather it would be product of another. The only preference that our Father has is that we be free to do what we wish, and then reap that which we have sown.

We create from our thoughts our being (Who we are), we then act according to who we believe we are. We are continuously creating and recreating who we are, consequently our environment changes reflecting our “Being” to ourselves and expressing our “Being” to the world. To know who we are we must first know who we are not. The consequences of our lives are created by ourselves, by who we are. If our creation is not to our liking we must simply change the elements which are undesirable, adding some ingredients and subtracting others, leaving only that which is beneficial.

Essentially we “Tune” into the Christ within. Through living and experiencing the consequences of our belief system (Or lack of one) and observing the outward situations and behaviours of others, listening also to their thoughts, and learning to feel a little of what they feel, we develop our Spiritual self. Through thinking wrong thoughts (Thoughts that do not reflect who we really are) we come to know who we are not. The occurrences that happen to us and the people that respond to us helps us decide who we are and who we want to be. As they are a reflection of who we are, so they are a reflection of us.

Speech cannot bring a moment. No one can say “Repent this” or “Repent that”. Only the Christ within can bring a moment of revaluation. When we are ready, when the time is right, change will begin. Let us be ready to give true service to God through our fellow Man, through our fellow animal and plant, indeed through all creation. When we have done harm ask the Christ within if the thought or action was in alignment with the true self. What is the thought that belongs to the Christ? Always it is the highest and noblest notion, always the least harmful and kindest way. We must be strong, we must be decisive, we must not allow ourselves to be hurt. We must protect, choosing according to our Conscience. The conscience is an expression of the Christ within. The gentle voice caresses the mind and is insistent, the quiet voice advises, it is never demands or dominates.

Our Father does not enforce His will on the son (The Christ within) and the son does not dominate the vessel. The Great Spirit asks the son for service. The son promotes the Father’s teachings and asks the vessel to surrender also. The power of God manifests through those who fully and truly choose to be channels. The Father chooses to give service through the Christ. The Christ chooses to expresses itself through the willing vessel. The three way relationship is now complete, the holy trinity is formed, through co-operation we will manifest our Fathers will. As it has been written “Thou will be done”.

Spiritual.

The word “Spiritual” has been bantered around in many circles and in many places throughout the world. What then is the true meaning of the word Spiritual? This is a very important word for an individual and a society to ask. At this moment and in every other, our Father is revealing in greater depth the true meaning of the word. As we walk our pathway, through the enfoldment of events, our Father is giving us a greater opportunity to live a more meaningful existence.

Every religion has a role to play, every religion has a truth to tell. Even the untruths have a part to play in the drama. The misconceptions of others teach us how not to be, how not to think. All people, all religions play a part in the answering of this question. Each has a perspective viewpoint which can be useful to the student of truth.

How can we become Spiritual?

By being of benefit to more than oneself. The distance travelled spiritually, the exact point of the milestone can only be measured by the conscience. The conscience is developed through life to act as a gauge to self evaluation. When the individual has faith in all that has been shown, then there can be movement spiritually, then the individual can progress onto further education.

B does not always follow A nor C always precede D on the spiritual path. A person may well be tolerant with others, their patience and wisdom may help guide their loved ones. It does not always follow that they use that same patience and tolerance to their own troubles.

According to faith, good will and the individual awareness (The individual awareness is considered and acknowledged by the Brethren) the high exalted ones can be made manifest to you. With one will they can act, healing distress in the body, mind and spirit, humbly aligning their concerted efforts to the proper enfoldment of the individual. Every speck is considered before giving spiritual sustenance.

What then is the meaning of the word spiritual?

Responsibility is the meaning, the beginning and the end. How well we hold the spiritual truths of acceptance and appreciation reveals to us the fruit of responsibility. We must hold to what we know to be true, yet be sceptical to the words of strangers and to the words of friends alike. As the Apostle Paul said “Put all things to the test” take all things to the great councillor – the Holy Spirit.

At the beginning of our spiritual journey we must find our link with God, we must ask the Spirit for evidence, we must ask honestly and humbly. When we do this we are asking through the son of man (The Christ within). Spirit then answers us in many forms, through many mediums, giving us the proof that we need. God works through the Holy Spirit manifesting the truths to us in order that we know what is real. Once we know that the Spirit is real, that our questions have answers and that they can be answered, then we need not continue going round and round in vicious circles, making the same mistakes, having the same experiences over and over. The Holy Spirit can communicate to us confirming the truths, revealing the misconceptions of others. Others misunderstand the nature and role of the Supreme Spirit, Jesus and Holy Spirit and many other aspects of our Eternal life. Through meditation and prayer, by asking our illustrious Father the questions, we open ourselves to the answers, we give the precious gift of freedom to ourselves.

Give yourself the opportunity to understand the process of creation. Without the will of an individual there is nothing that can be. There is an active part within that processes the flow of energy and thought. Our life is leading somewhere, there is purpose, we have to look within, to feel the way. Do not become a victim of your own inaction.
