Is it easier to feel your guide/angel when you're sleepy?

I woke up at 2am and went to get my crying baby boy a bottle. I went out to the kitchen and swore someone was in the kitchen with me, walking back and forth with me, then stood in the kitchen as I went back to the bedroom. I was pretty sleepy and almost dead on my feet, but definitely felt a presence. Is it easier to feel a presence when you're sleepy or close to a meditative state?

Usually, yes. It also depends on the person.
I haven't really "sensed" anyone or anything, but when it comes to spirit contact (angels and guides), I know I work best when my mind's active.
But generally, yes.

I have to agree. I can feel my guide better when Im sleepy.

Well between 2-4 a.m. most humans are asleep which makes it much easier for the energy of the spirit world to bleed through. Why do you think ghost hunters get so much more on tape at that time? Usually our day is full of energy from people that are awake around you. At that time, the human energy is dormant and those of us awake, can see spirits easier :)

and yes, when you meditate you can see easier because of the theta waves in your brain. Similar to sleep. :)

Wow thats something I have not heard before but makes a lot of sense. Does that mean that if you live in a quiet place - rural or semi rural compaired to a big city again there would be less energy from less people so more spiritual energy?

Heard my guide's voice when I was at that state of mental quiet that you reach, just between being awake and sleep.

aww how wonderful, must be so beautiful and surrounded by such a lovely energy, i can absolutely understand that from an empath perspective also lol i live in a little market town in the country, cannot bear to be in big city or heavily populated places for too long and tend to avoid high streets as much as i can

anyway living surrounded i feel is so much nicer on the eyes, all that beauty, for me it certainly beats looking at concrete :P
