My daughter is getting married in Sept and I have my eye on Trace Atkins new song called "just fishing" for the father-daughter dance.

I just checked out that song - I like it!
It reminds me of my first time fishing with my dad & uncle... I've always had beginner's luck... & was the only one to catch anything.

I personally do not like country music.... Anyone singing with a fake southern accent to twangy guitars and always talking about pick up trucks, beer and blue jeans..... Man, count me out...LOL

Country is NOT all that twangy depressing stuff - that was a while back.

I did grow up like a country girl - farm work & all that - but I also have a more delicate side among other sides. lol

I like almost all types of music...
Rap, reggae, hip hop/club, hip hop, r&b, country, folk, jazz, blues, hawaiian, classical, rock, mostly soft rock.
I took an African dance class & had a blast!
The only type I don't like are the extremes of any of that... when it just sounds angry or too depressing.

I like Creedence Clearwater Revival too (Have you ever seen the rain).

i never thought i would listen to country in my life, but for the past six months that is all i listen to now. especially like the zac brown band.

I'm a little eclectic when it comes to music, I don't really shut out any genre. That being said, there are a couple of country songs I do really like:
