"I am being loved"

This affirmation I have been using for quite some time now. It has worked for me in the way that I am really feeling loved and secure by all my friends female and male. Nevertheless this affirmation has not brought me the love of a partner - I am yearning for Love... yet all I get is friendship.

I think we get what we expect in life perhaps..? (Law Of Attraction)

Have you made space in your wardrobe for your partner? Have you figured out where they might park there car? etc? Are you really EXPECTING them? Or are you expecting to stay alone.. we get what we expect.. do we not?

(Half the reason I say these things is cause I need to remind myself I think.. )

In fact, there is one special friend whom I like very very much. I know though that he doesn't have "love" feelings for me. So, no.

Do you know for sure? Have you brought up the subject in a light manner?

Well, we were talking one day in an intense one-on-one talk in his room and I told him that he is like a brother to me... which is why I could never start anything with him. He seemed relieved to hear that, he said that this same thought had been troubling him, that I might expect something from him. I said no, that we are just great friends... we hugged and parted as friends. And we still are.

Nevertheless, when I counted that same thing to my mentor, he laughed and said: "Well, what was he going to answer? He might have thought 'oh darnit, that's my dream girl saying she only wants me as a friend, now what am I going to tell her?'... did you ever think about that possibility?"

But then, I don't think he is interested in me in a sensual, passionate way... I've seen his ex-girlfriends and they are all pretty, thin girls.

How about "I love myself (the way I am)" or something like "I am open and ready for a relationship/ partner etc."

You could also try visualization. As often as possible and as "real" as possible.

Yearning for "Love" ?

Forget, you can never find this type of true thing.

All you will find at the end is just "False attachment"

Search "God".

I make it a point not to openly disagree with what people have to say on the forum, but I have to draw the line here. You are wrong.

You have failed to find that 'True Love' in your life. That doesn't mean that others can't achieve it. You are doing people a horrible inustice by posting things like this.

Well said, arthibristan. Although personal love that is true may be rare in our world I know it is possible... once we have healed and released our heart's hurt and disappointment from the past.

And Chinu is also right... finding divine love within your inner heart is like no other.
