The Earth Bleeds, ... dream journals

And interesting line from one of my dreams has been tumbling around in my head a lot lately. Most things in my dreams are seen or felt, but i heard this. It was spoken by a female voice. It said. "The earth bleeds! She needs a lover to heal her!"
Does it mean anything to anyone? Just curious.
I don't like going off of books and things for interpretation.

Also Just wondering what people do for dream journals. How do you know what details to keep track of. How often do you write in them excreta. I have never kept one before.

Hi Wyaunagh, that is so interesting! I often get messages early in the morning that are only one line. The words that you received are very symbolic, as blood is symbolic of energy or motivation, so something bleeding is losing energy or losing motivation. 'She needs a lover' indicates to me that the earth energy needs people to be lovinglly attentive to her energy level in order to heal it, which could mean taking an active interest in the water problems or "greenhouse" effect, etc. I believe you are being advised to become more globally atttentive to current earth issues.

In dream journals, I always write the date, time (optional, I used to wake up and write my dreams down when I started journaling), who is in dream (stranger vs. real person in waking life), where dream takes place, when (day vs. night, present day vs other time, and most importantly, HOW you felt about things that were happening in dreams. Recording your emotions is essential to the meaning of the dream. Example: someone who in waking life hates snakes, but in the dream, the snake was helpful and kind to dreamer. How dreamer feels towards people, things in dreams is important to record.
