(little) WOW! Moment
I've been meditating, on and off, for around 15 years (mostly off!). I've started doing 20 minutes every morning just 3 days ago.
Something I've always struggled with is separating 'myself' from my thoughts but today I had a breakthrough and it was caused by an itch!
About halfway through my session my forehead began to itch. I managed to remove myself from the sensation, realising that it was only a nerve signal and not 'real', if you know what I mean.
Shortly after this my thoughts began to kick in, congratulating me on my success. For the first time I can remember, I managed to do the same with my thoughts as I had with the itch. I recognised them as separate from 'me' rather than being me myself.
This is new for me. Yes, I've read about it and know about it but have never 'felt' it before.
I am not my thoughts nor am I my sensations. I'm something else. Wow!

Well! Congratulations !...the above quote I felt needed to be repeated
for others to see.
You're on your way now!
Makes me think of Ramana Maharshi and his awakening.
You know how intangible your thoughts are? Or an itch?
You're not your bones or your face, either!

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.

That is a very big moment. Good things are right around the corner. The more and more you can reside in Mahamudra. Reside in that clear sky the more and more thoughts, feelings and sensations will turn into estatic energy.
Very big wow's are right around the corner my friend. Congrats!!

Well done, such a key moment. And may I also point out that the itching in the forehead is linked to your pineal gland opening. Mine would itch like crazy on and off, but only until it finally began to open; and when this happens you will know. :) Love & Light with you always…

Wow. I'd put it down to a stray hair from my fringe brushing against my skin!
Thank you anyway.

For me that realization was so freeing because I no longer had to think because they did their own thing.
Ofc when things go well i still take credit for my thoughts and when they are bad i detach myself making sure to reaping the best of both sides of the coin xD
