A leopard on the loose

This is my latest interesting dream.

I'm at a theme park or similar with my family. I've become temporarily seperated from wife and kids, but literally only by a few yards. Perhaps I'd gone to a shop or something.

A large leopard appears. It looks hungry and aggressive. My first thought is to ensure my kids are not dinner, but so I prepare to fight the leopard. I should point out just a few months ago I joined a martial club, so this is likely to have a bearing. I advanced on the leopard and launched a stepping kick at it. It then became obvious it was not paying any attention to my kids a few yards away, so now the emphasis was on keeping myself alive. Like a true coward, I figured if I'm in a crowd, I'm less likely to be singled out, but I still made sure I had room to engage in combat if the need arose.

Then a stag appeared. It came from the left of my field of vision (I read somewhere this is significant, but can't remember how). Everyone watched in awe, expecting the leopard to kill the stag. I don't know why I was watching excitedly, I appreciate that nature is nature but still don't like to see anything get hurt or killed. The leopard didn't kill the stag. Several young deer appeared too, and it was a total anti-climax, as nothing really happened. There was a sense that the leopard didn't want to mess the stag, and the stag didn't care one way or the other.

This was all in warm sunshine. But then we all got onto a coach, and set off somewhere very cold and icy. It was not unpleasant though. Quite the contrary, I enjoyed looked at the masses of ice everywhere. We arrived at our destination. Another theme park type thing, except this one was all underground, accessed via a cave which promptly went straight down vertically. There was much fun had, before we left and found ourselves in a forest. Then I woke up.

Nothing in life is as dangerous or life and death as it seems. What may appear at first to be great danger can turn out to be nothing. So go ahead and let your guard down and look at life as an adventure, even when dealing with the old stuck parts of us see the beauty in life, see the silver lining and enjoy the ride as they say. Life is indeed one big adventure to be seen and experienced.

It seems like a dream about the various energies of the body and the roles you feel you must play, both masculine and feminine. Your thoughts about it having something to do with you joining a martial arts club might be "spot" on.

You're at a place of fun, or that should be fun, but you feel you have to fight and defend what is yours or put forth a show of strength. The leopard is strong, but show is the stag. They both have strength, but display their strength and power in different manners. Much like the story of the tortoise and the hare that shows that there is more than one way to win a race, the leopard and the stag show you that there is more than one way to display strength and power.
