How can I become closer to God
What are many ways I can become closer to God?I wanted to astral project because I heard it was a spiritual experience but when I do it I become really scared of the vibrations and sometimes I feel a bad presence in the room so what are other ways I can get closer to him

Prayer, meditation, contemplation, mantra, being grateful for what you have, visualisation of white or golden light, seeing-feeling the oneness of life, being kind and loving with everybody, yourself and animals all the time (without being a doormat  ), by looking at the stars at night, by feeling the Love present at each moment. God is not separate from you, He-She is as well in you.
Astral travel won't necessary lead you closer for there are many levels including low astral levels and it is likely what you saw and felt bad about. Know that if you don't fear an entity and don't take interest in it ,it can't do anything to you, you've the power, you're free. |

You could "prepare the way of the Lord". This is not without controversy because of the different Lords in evidence in the world religions.
Thus you become a servant and share in the ease of family relations.

By becoming 'closer' to and increasingly aware of your own higher nature... How does one do this? Through inner-work (engaging in introspection, self-reflection, deep contemplation)... Over time you will observe and experience your state of Awareness increasingly expanding... This will allow you to feel more and more in touch with all-that-is...

I believe the Divine/Source/Oneness, etc. resides within you, and can not be found externally...when you search for the Divine external from you this gives you the illusion of separation...you are always connected to the Divine because it is within you, all you have to do is look within to find it...

It is hard to make criticism and this is not intended be to so, just an observation. But to see people meticulously washing their hands and feet, or lighting candles, or bowing their head in prayer, it means nothing if there is not love in their heart. For love alone attunes the heart of man to God.
