I wrote this today, completely unaware that it was a full moon time and then as I visit here, I realise - oh gosh! how true are these words - even more so than I realised! Pretty special, that as I wrote it ( truly wondering why I was compelled to write it- and not thinking to check the lunar cycle... doh!) she is proving her powers.... wow. And even more special, finding and sharing all of our moon poetry here... thankyou!



Moon



She wakes me
In the deepest hours
As I dive amongst my dreams
Pulled by her strange light
I surface, blinking


She is insistent
Her tide spell, her silver
Calling me to audience
Her gentle presence
On night's vast stage


In midnight breeze
Honoured I gaze, receiving all
She bestows upon me
This communion
From the heavens


It is Love she gives,
Celestial, maternal
Love that shines, luminous
Soft caress upon my
Upturned face


I am blessed
She shows me, proves
With her gentle moonbeams
Love shines, in the depths
Of darkest night
