Can ones thoughts have consciousness?
I believe they can, why, because consciousness is spiritual. It is written in the scripture "Love thy God with all thy heart mind and soul, and in doing so you are obeying the law". It seems the heart the mind and the soul are all spiritual and conscious especially of each other. The next statement is, "I can make up my mind to do anything I want". Which tells me our thoughts can turn into powerful words spiritually.
I believe our spirit is our consciousness and vice versa. I believe our spirit looks just like us from our head to our toes. I now believe we are spirits having a human experience. There is the spiritual plane and a material plane and they somehow work together. One can have thoughts in the heart and brain. Without consciousness, we are dead. So it would make sense to have a soul/spirit. Thoughts please? Curious Paul

I think that this is a category error. Thoughts refer to some mental activity of which we are conscious. It doesn't make much sense to say that thoughts are themselves conscious.

Thoughts come from consiousness if im right. Though, other consiousness can invade urs and those can form thoughts. In other words thoughts u think are yours might be from another consious.

Yeah, I'd have to agree. Thoughts are a product of consciousness, imo, but not consciousness itself; thoughts assume a form (a thought-form), and are therefore transient, subject to birth and death, whereas consciousness is eternal and formless.
Although, on the other hand, isn't there a strand of thinking that says everything is consciousness? Eesh, Lord knows... all very dry terms, all so abstract. I prefer the simple query of 'what am I?' - somehow, I feel that if I can recognise that, the rest will fall into place.

A thought can have a consciousness per say, but only in dialog, expression or analytical why were awareness can recognize itself.
Some intellectual thought/s used in an attempt to recognize or connect with consciousness never hit the target.

Love thy god with your heart, light body & Conscious Mind, become an individual good loving person, & you will eventually become a full light body (real eternal human being)..Thoughts are what we imagine we would say in words driven by our intentions emotions & feelings, & we only use them here in this existence in order to learn so the more we've learn't the less we need to think..Or there exactly what we would imagine we would think, if we we're to try to learn something new or work something out..So when we speak we hear the words in our ears, but most importantly to realise is when you think you then immediately imagine/hear those thoughts as words in your imagination..So everything a person hears in their own Conscious Mind, are words that they've just imagined they would say "if" they actually had the ability to think using words..Which of course we don't, we don't actually have the ability to think in words we just imagine we do..Now the interesting part is then where do the imagined words/thoughts come from if we're only imagining them?, well if you ask me which i know you didn't they come from the universal logical loving Sub-Conscious Minds of Mother Nature & God. :-)
