Reflecting on the words of "god".
I am 22 years old student who studies music. Recently am becoming more spiritual and want to start studying all the major religions.
I just downloaded the King James bible e-book and will continue on from there to other religions. I am very open minded and want to study the similarities in beliefs and experiences.
I have been reading the bible for the first time for about 30 min now. And this is the poem I wrote that came out through song:
You breathed in my soul,
brought in the light.
say don't lose control,
of feeling and sight.
But who am I really,
can I define?
Is this your life to live?
Or is it mine?
And all those sweet tastes,
that fall from the tree.
Will just cripple and waste the one's you call me.
So I ask again and let out a cry!
Is this life for you, or is it for I?
Now one could say, we are one in the same.
We learn for each other and and carry the blame.
Yet you're not the one, who's life will expire.
In an eternal bliss or waste of desire.
But here I go assuming my story.
Seeing the end before seeing the glory.
Can you only see goodness in those that drink wine?
A making of you, with a taste from the vine.
And how will it show, should I even concern?
I guess I will know, when they pick out my earn.

Nicely written, widely spun.

Very nice.
"Seeing the end before seeing the glory" is my favorite line.
