Could someone please help me understand my spiritual experience?

I am new on here, and have never posted on a forum before. But thought I would try to share my experience with others in hope that I will have a better understanding.

Last night I woke up at around 2am.
I went to stand and found that my lower legs did not have the strength to help me stand. So I fell to the floor. My ankles and feet were swollen and I was unable to bend my legs. This was a very scary experience I managed to get back into bed and arranged for my partner to take me to hospital in the morning.

As I laid in bed I started to see blue lights flashing around the room. As I started to concentrate on the blue lights my entire room filled itself with a green glittery dust. I have had spiritual encounters in the past although nothing as powerful as this. Instead of getting scared I embraced the feeling. The green glittery dust started to become greener and brighter. I held my hands up and felt the lights bounce off my hands and arms and travel through my fingers. There was the occasional blue and red light also but mainly green. It felt like tiny electrical currents tickling my skin. I even managed to hold some and bring it towards my face and I felt the tickle over cheeks. There was also at random times and bright white light that came from my ceiling and quickly flashed towards my floor.

After embracing this amazing experience for about 2 hours I eventually fell asleep. When I woke in the morning I tried to stand and my legs were better. There was no swelling and although my legs feel slightly sore I am able to walk comfortably on them. I must be honest and say that I have never truly understood about the spiritual side of healing, and thought it was potently nonsense. But after my experience this had led me to try and understand abit about it.

Could anyone please help me understand what had happened last night? Or if anyone else has experienced this glittery green lights.
