I took greek mythology and religious studies in university as side courses which both spoke of it, glad i remember some of it and thank you for the kind post.

Solace that sounds divine, would you please share some of what you learned? I'm thinking about writing a book about angels from a Greek Orthodox perspective, I haven't thought about touching on the Greek mythology aspect.

Well, i don't remember much as this was not my major, and was also 12 years ago so i would not be much help to you. What i do remember is that in Greek Myth, Eros was the son of Aphrodite i believe, and he was often portrayed in a sexual/passionate manner and also that of a child aka cupidlike. Agape was divine love. Unconditional and beyond passion and lust. A higher form of love. I cannot think of much more at the moment as i am tired(after midnight) and it has been a long day, but if i remember more on it i will let you know
