Questions about Reiki and Channeling

Hi, I am totally new to any Energy Works, Reiki, etc. But have always been fascinated with the Astrology, Tarot Card, etc., since I was a teen. Anyways, I have been suffering from severe Anxiety(Panic Attacks), agoraphobia, fear and worry about a lot of things for over ten years. I have tried many medications and cognitive behavioral therapy. So I was doing research on anything natural or metaphysical that could help me. And found that Reiki might help. I found a place near where I live and they also offered channeling and I thought that might be cool. So here's what happened. The Reiki practitioner informed me after my session that there was a very dark shadow or person standing there next to me during the whole session. Which freaked me out. So then I had the channeling done and the very black shadow or man was there again. He said" that he was my husband from a past life" and that I'm not ready yet. Whatever that means. My question is how do I know if he was who he says he is and couldn't he be a negative entity that is causing all this havoc in my life? I don't know who to trust and what to believe since there are so many views on metaphysical things. Any Help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Yes it's always hard to know who to trust. But ultimately you have to see what resonates with you. I was told once by a healer that I had an entity in my chakra from a past life. I then asked my reiki master to feel for it which she did. She also cleared it. I went back to the first healer and she without me saying anything asked who cleared the entity. So there was something to it. You can always get another opinion. Someone who has a good reputation. Perhaps a healer that can also remove the entity. Yes, I did all my reiki levels and I have to say it does help a lot with anxiety.

Most reiki healers cant see entities so maybe she just hadnt seen many and hence were startled.

In truth many of us do carry things like entities around with us of various sorts (more commonly crittery kinds of astral stuff in our energy bodies rather then spirit men of sorts). So yeah I can imagine she may of been surprised. Ive had to have things cleaned from me (not spirit men thou but critters) which more then one psychic could see and describe (and I could feel it come out). Note..being a reiki channel for 10 years and doing reiki on myself every night.. didnt remove these things from me. (thou I guess they wouldnt have liked it at all)

I suggest you find another healer who can see these things and make sure its cleared if she sees it too. He could be a misguided guide one could say..someone passed from your history at some time who thinks he can help you in some way but of too low vibration to really do much for you (seeing he's dark). Or maybe his intent isnt even good.

Things like this use our energy to hang out around us and it doesnt surprise me that you are getting panic attacks if you have one like this around you. Your subconciousness would of known.
