Did you have to ground yourself at some point during your spiritual journey?
Hi everyone,
Did you have to ground yourself in the material world at some point during your spiritual journey? If so, how did you do it?
Also, any ideas on how psychics remain grounded?
Thanks in advance for your help :)

yes get as practical as you can and focus on being in the present while you do what ever practical stuff there is so your mind won't wander. too practise to see more with your eyes, don't relax too much, don't get too tense - these are my 2 mood where I get to have experiences

The best way to ground yourself is by visulising roots coming from under your feet anchoring you to the ground.
another way is to leave your spiritual side alone for a bit and do some gardening or going for a walk in Nature.
If you are already doing Spiritual Work and you do it for long enough you will need to take a break.

Ah, yes ...I have also heard sit in a half lotus on the floor or
ground and have the roots go into the center of the earth from your spine (tail bone area). Yes. Good one.
A big smokey quartz in your lap helps.
I also think washing your hands and arms in salty water, shake it off
to clear ''vibes'' off you is very good.
Do the same to the top of your head, a quick sweep...a little cleanse.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.

Physical exercise and nature, gardening, eating foods which grown in or close to the ground. Sleeping and cooking outside. Feeling the sensation of the clothes that you are wearing on your skin.
I love having a physical body and my animal nature haha. I used to be very ungrounded for a long time.

What red embers shared plus I find barefoot walking the best, especially on damp earth for at least 20mins.
More often now I’ll do my walk with no shoes, which is usually up to one hour. Not only does it ground but it aligns your body.

No. I suggest you use centering rather than grounding as its far more effective and can be used everywhere. It also conserves energy rather than dumping it.

Really I think what you want here is to learn to be present (embodied). Note that being present AND being detached is an overall good foundation to mid-level spiritual advancement.

Thanks. What's the difference between grounding and centering?
