crying tears of joy
Hello, around 2 years ago i was crying tears of joy to the universe, even though it felt good i kept doing the same rutine. I smoked a ton of cigarettes, listened to music and cried, and danced. People could not see it on me that i was clearing past tense feelings doing this.
What is this feeling called? Crying to (free your mind kind of feeling) / (stop headaches) ease the forehead??
I guess it was really not the tears but the joy by doing it?? that led me to keep repeating

Sometimes tears flow for no reason, we don't have to know, we just let go. Sometimes we might need to know and so find connections. Music and dance support this process as a positive means to open and release.
YOU mentioned that for two years they were tears of joy. So was joy the feeling in the release like you mentioned?
The creative space you chose to release, maybe created it to be joyful?
Where as someone sitting in a therapist room offloading and sharing connections of their release might tell another story.
In some ways I see that you immersed into just being in the space and letting go, not really creating a story about your feelings. But more allowing the flow through your creative choices.
Something many others could learn from...(not so much the cigs though lol )

In the past I've referred to it as Cathartic Crying...
In my experience, this accompanies significant emotional releases/purges...

I see you added this to your post.
We can be in joy of being creative and still let go of feelings that seek release in that process. What the release itself is in this way doesn't matter unless you need to know. The body can release freely without needing to know the why's or how's. When you moved by something, often the movement affects us in some way to let go to that movement in us. It is the bodies reaction to itself and its own movements within, moving one with the life we create.

Yes I like that term.
Purification and purgation of emotions through art. Can be both powerful for the bodies release and the art that it is expressed through.

yI will say, that my very close friend whom was murdered a few years back. Well, of course everytime I started thinking about it I wanted to cry tears of immense pain, but as the tears cames out I would be carried by a blissful Joy as if he would not allow me be sad over him. And he knew he was not from here before he left, I have no doubt in his afterlife abilities.
That's all I really have to share upon the subject.

It was the release in crying, that gave joy, and i found that in that moment in expressing feelings through music, gave me energy. And all in all it lifted a burden from my head, can i use the phrase "clear your mind" feeling?
I didn't cry at that time for 'no reason i cried because it was beautiful and it lifted me. And i was able to stop it when it felt that i could not cry more than my head (seriously) could handle, and i would relax. At the time i felt alive doing it, but i shaked so much that i could not play a set of cards (so i had to dance)

Ah that is a little more clearer. The clear your mind part would make sense in all this. Heaviness giving way to lightness of being, joyfulness and energy gained. When your not in your head and more in your feeling centre, the shifts within the whole body often occur.
In the past prior to this, did you spend more time in your head than your feelings?

As i remember i had very strong anxiety, that is gone.. (the feeling of it) the strong intense and immense pressure on my heart is no longer there, the feeling that my mouth is rottening is also no longer there. After this experience i must say yes i feel that i have atleast more contact with some purity in me that i could not think myself to.
But if i was more in my head prior yes i was.

Well there you go.
You show how tapping into a more uplifting flow in feeling can shift those pressures we take on in our body through things like anxiety or fears.
We are a holistic vessel in our pain and fears so the whole body is affected.
And healing affects us the same way. We move something and everything moves with it, affected by it.
