My Birthday...
Well tomorrow is my 82nd birthday. What shall I do to celebrate? If I could I would like to have a frozen lake to ice skate on... again. I would love the feel of the speed. Age doesn't slow one down when skating. But.... there are no icy lakes nor are there any ice skating facilities in my city. What to do?
I'll go roller skating instead. it's fun too but in some way... different. When I think of rollers I visualize the Huntington Heartbreakers. That is, or was, a bad a.. skating team in Orange County, CA.
Well never mind. Next winter I'm flying to the Northmark where there is plenty of ice. And you know what they say in Norway? There is no bad weater, only bad clothing.
I hope than when I wake up I'll remember this dream and not trip on my way to the loo. ha ha

Oh heavens.... I was too early with your birthday James.
We have got a party ready in the healing room ..
( But ahhhhh, pretend to act all surprised when they all jump out from the recliners )....

My actual birthdate this lifetime? 17 June 1942. I rememer it well. We had a coming out party in my honor. I was a feet first baby. They knew my gender before they knew what I looked like.
A party in the healing room is a good idea and also practical. After the party I can stick around to be healed from the after effects of partying. Ha ha....
Silly me. I think of ice skating in the bathing costume season.
My dauthter sent me a nice pair of shoes. Just when I needed them. My son made by eggs and toast with coffee for breakfast this morning. What more could I ask for?

Well new shoes and eggs on toast , you are lucky !
I can't get shoes to fit me and I LOVE eggs on toast.
Did the eggs have a candle in them ?

I've seen no cake yet but if I do I'll make an ethereal copy and bring it up to the Healing Room for Goodness to savor... She'll be my friend forever...
But don't worry there will plenty for sharing. And the best part is that in the Garden one can set aside all the usual constraints and indulge to the max with zero consequences. |
