Just off the top of my head - Omega 3's seemed to help a friend with terrible gout in one day.
I know it's not the same, but O'3s are said to stop inflammation.
Then, nerves I think immediately of calming them with B-complex.
Or maybe an injection from a doctor or an IV drip with magnesium?

Pycnogenol is used by my myofasciaitis sp? and RSD people (30 years massaging).

Yesterday morning before I read this thread, my sister in law told me she was having pain in her left hand like electrical shocks at random times and that she thought it was a nerve. Maybe I am to pass this on to you?

Does she have any idea why the nerves are inflamed? Even if she isn’t interested in allopathic options, knowing the cause can be useful in selecting targeted supplements. Are the inflamed nerves on the surface of the skin or inside the hand? If this is surface irritation, aloe or an aloe based lotion may be useful. For internal nerve irritation the following supplements may be worth investigating.

Zyflamend is formulated for inflammation even though I don’t know if it would help w/ this specific issue. It has concentrated oils like rosemary & oregano.

If the inflamed nerves are a result of carpel tunnel, a protein enzyme (empty stomach) can help remove scar tissue w/ prolonged treatment. A protein enzyme formula w/ allot of serrapeptase (silkworm enzyme) may be useful. Enzymedica told me the serrapeptase is very useful for inflammation. For enzymes I would recommend staying w/ the enzyme specialty companies. Serragold also has protein enzyme.
