Gratitude a simple word

Gratitude

Gratitude a simple word.. that helps us to be humble
Gratitude a simple word.. that helps us appreciate what people do for us
Gratitude a simple word.. that shows us that we are full of love
Gratitude a simple word.. that shows us that we respect each other

My life changed when I chose to be grateful

I learned to be humble
I learned to appreciate
I learned that I were full of love
I learned to respect

I thank you, that you took the time to read what I have written..

Peace and love to you all

Yours

A Peaceful Mind

During a natural disaster whereby you lose your house (e.g. to a hurricane), it is interesting to see the reactions of people - in a news report. Some have been devastated, others so thankful that they are still alive.

Coming close to death can really give you a wake-up call - (I have had 3 close encounters with it - various accidents in my 20's). It shakes up your perspective and priorities in life. I am still truly grateful just to be alive - some 40 years on from those experiences. It's ingrained in my awareness.
