Healing a random guy??

I wasn't sure where to post this, so if there is another forum this fits better, please tell me!

Today I was out at lunch and noticed a very handsome waiter. I was immediately drawn to him even though he was generally waiting other tables and never spoke two words to us.
Tapping into his energy and aura I felt overwhelming sadness and helplessness from him. Deciding a nice, young man shouldn't feel that way, especially on a holiday, I sent him some healing energy and love. (I generally do it with my Twin Flame only, but this felt needed.)
He immediately after receiving it looked at me and continued doing his work with a MUCH better mood. He was grinning, laughing, and at one point dancing.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Did he know the energy was then from me?
Please tell me about similar experiences any of you might have had!

He probably did not know consciously, but subconsciously yes. It's like how if you stare at a random person, they'll sense it and they might turn and look at you even though there is not apparent reason they would know you are looking at them. He could have caught you looking at him too, and thus noticed you more. If he's a waiter it's likely his eyes are everywhere while he's clocked in on the floor, so it's no surprise he picked up on this.

I haven't experienced this, because I don't send random people such specific vibes. I believe it's invasive in some cases considering the energy is not always welcome, and will go to waste under such a circumstance. However it seems as though that is not the case here.

That's true! I felt somewhat bad about tapping into his energy and helping him, but his energy felt so hopeless and sad. I was quite relieved when I noticed how happy he became when it was over. He was quite the gentle soul and had such a calming aura under all the sadness.

I probably won't provide energy to others just incase they don't want it; I don't want be an 'Energy Meddler' so to speak. I generally don't do this sort of thing normally but I felt as though he could use it. :)

This could be a case of you projecting your own feelings on to some one else. We often see our own feelings mirrored in others. Be careful and check your own feelings 1st.

Of sadness? I was very happy all day yesterday and have been very happy. :) I generally try to stay away from going anywhere when I'm not 100% due to feeling someone might have negativity rub off. It's always important to tap into your own emotions and know how you feel along with how to manage them!

I'm an empathetic medium for lack of better words and generally pick up on emotions easily with spirits. :)
