Rescued duck
I read in the paper today about a duck that was found outside by one of the planes at Gatwick airport. The poor thing was shivering and unable to fly due to hypothermia but kind staff at the airport wrapped it in a blanket and contacted a rescue centre for advice. They then drove 2 hours to an animal centre on the south coast that took the duck in and treated it. Now Snowy (the duck) is in the process of making a full recovery and should be able to fly again. I found this story so heartwarming I was moved to tears. It's so lovely to read how much people care for animals and will put themselves out to save one.

I love these stories. My mom told me that when they were rv'ing they found a duck with a fishhook through it's leg.....they took it in the RV and took the hoook out, made sure there was no infection unwrapped the fish line from it's neck and set it free. I'm like that too, of course I'll rescue any animal my cat's bring in even if it's a bug. One time my cat Sammy brought in a snake... Iheard a thud and he was looking at it like 'okay what do I do now" so put a box over it, put it in the box, and took it to the vets where they treated it for free and put back in the wild.....
