Pentacles or Swords for education?
I still can't seem to decide which suit represents education. I tend to think Swords, but quite a few authors have nominated Pentacles.
What are everyone's views?

It can be both I suppose.
Pentacles can represent learning physical skills that need qualifications like hairdressing, bricklaying or plumbing and Swords represent the more academic like sciences, law and medicine.
Both sets of careers need qualifications but one set requires you to physically display your skills, the other requires you to know facts and figures.

Of course. Makes perfect sense. God only knows why I didn't see that. For some reason books refer to either Swords or (more commonly) Pentacles, so I got blinded I think.
Thanks Pisces Moon. Perfectly said too.

My 2 cents is both, and also listen to your intuition :)
(I tend to get 10 of Wands and Devil a lot in readings for people who are pushing too hard at their studies!)

I would think both. I'd lean towards Swords by default, but Pentacles (indicating financial stuff) is often a byproduct of a good education. (You sometimes get a well-paying job in return)
