A.I. & Spirituality

It's funny how no one is talking about how the whole international A.I. race is committing mass Copyright Infringement on a global scale.

But I don't mind because this unfortunate situation (of identity crisis) might very well kickstart the whole and entire global collective human desire to understand and proof that consciousness exists and what it precisely is.

That's what I'm rooting for, atleast.

Where there is demand, there is supply.

Well now the Catholic Pope has weighed in on this, as A.I., or deep fake, was used to alter his image. A.I. Has also be used to alter and mimic some world leaders. A.I. Could be used to further divide people in this world, or even start a war. This online digital age which we now live in does have the ability to influence us, regardless whether that influence is accurate or not.

We are currently at the very beginning of artificial intelligence, and once we get into future generations of A.I. there is no telling what that will look like or be like. I began learning computer science back in the early 1980’s, a far cry from where computer science is today. I went through grad school successfully with an 8-bit Texas Instruments computer.

This was before bytes, megabytes, gigabytes, and terabytes which we have today. Computers were built to emulate our mind, our thinking process and our imagination, not to mention artificial memory or recall. Artificial intelligence is a step up in mimicking the human mind or human consciousness, in my opinion.

Most things which humanity has created have been an extension of the human condition. Instead of walking we came up with horseback riding, carriages, bicycles, cars, boats and aircraft, so we could cover large distances much faster than walking. Items we could not lift with our hands we invented machines to do the lifting for us. In my opinion computers are an extension of us, and most probably so will A.I. be.
