Question Dreams where I don't physically exist, but I'm there...sort of...

Lately I've noticed that I've been dreaming differently. I'll describe it as best as I can. Quite often now when I dream I'm not physically a part of the scene. Sometimes I am in the scene, but not in my body. I'm actually watching it from somewhere. The thing is I can't pin point where I am, like I'm not looking in from above or watching on a screen, but I am observing everything and hearing everything but I seem to not have any physical existence.

Sorry this is really hard to explain. And sometimes I'm not even in the scene I'm observing other people. But again I have not physical body yet I know everything that's happening.

Other times I dream normally, and sometimes it's a combination of both.

This is a new concept to me and I'm curious. Does anyone else dream like this, or have any thoughts on this way of dreaming?

That is probably because you feel you are the dream. The dream is about you, and all that is going on inside of you.

I would say you are taking an objective view of things going on in your life. You may not yet identify or recognize some of the behaviors and traits going on in the dream so the dream is an effort for you to take an observer approach to a situation so you can assess it without being in the middle of it. A very helpful thing to do and something we all do in dreams. Sometimes we are in the dream, sometimes we are just watching. It's all pretty normal.

Wow that makes so much sense to me! I get it now. I wanted answers to some questions that have been bugging me for a while. I asked whoever or whatever (not sure if I believe in guides) was listening to give me the answer in my dreams, and I think that was it. Dreaming that way is not normal for me, that's why it got my attention.

Thanks :)

That's called lucid dreaming, marshmallow10
You are somewhat awake in the dream and you can play with this if it happens again if you want to, where you become all powerful and can change anything you want to in the dream.
You can manifest a bag full of gold, only thing is when you do wake up you can't bring it back with you - it's just an illusion.

I thought lucid dreaming was when you're aware you are dreaming? I was not aware that I was dreaming until I woke. Sorry I'm a bit confused.
