My 3-card spread for this week

I did a 3 card spread on Monday as follows:

1) The Devil

2) The Fool

3) Queen of Cups.

My interpretation of this is:

1) I seem to be suck in a situation of my own making - with self-imposed limitations.

2) A new beginning approaches. The start of a new adventure which will take me on a great journey.

3) A nurturing woman in control of her emotions will provide comfort / guidance.

My situation: I have been working at this company now for 9 1/2 yrs, and need a change, so I am applying for new job opportunities. I really need a change as the energy in my current workplace is now becoming unbearable.

What else do these cards say? Have I missed something?

Far be it from me to dictate what the cards may have been saying to you, but the cards could also have been saying something like:

"Dude, you're in a bit of a bind at the moment and need to break the cycle a bit (The Devil). Have you ever thought about trying a lighter, free-er approach? (The Fool) A bit of creativity might really go a long way to changing your circumstances, if you just take a moment to think about the situation, your actual needs, and solutions that bridge the gap (Queen of Cups)."

Court cards don't always refer to people - and in particular, they don't always refer to other people/people of that particular gender :)

Did you have a specific question in mind, or was it a general guidance spread?

This was a general guidance spread - things at work are tough right now. I am applying for other jobs.
