strange event during sleep

Sorry for my bad English.

Some years ago I had a really strange event during my sleep. That night I saw a man standing next to my bed, I assume that I was dreaming, but it could also be real (I was aware but is was al vague).

The man I saw was wearing a suit and had a suitcase in his hand, I couldn't see his face it was blurred and dark. Then he said that he needed help, he said: "I need your help, I need your help". I answered: You are just a dream I can't help you! Then he said to me: Oh ill show you that i'm real! I completely woke up and heard some soft strange creak sounds. Then my xbox turned on, there was no one awake in my house and i'm sure that it was turned off before I went to bed.

So I have a few questions
Is it possible for entities to turn on electronic devices?
Is this an entity or was it just a dream and an extreme coincidence?
Are there people with the same kind experiences?

I live in an old house and this is not the first strange thing.

Most likely it was a dream, and the spirit was you yourself, asking you for help. As far as the xbox, it could have been electrical, due to its programing, or your own mind could have done it, or you could have been still dreaming.

it was a ghost, the two most common things ghosts do is make noises and mess with electronics, they can also break/throw things.

the reason why you saw a him and thought you were dreaming is because you were in an altered state of awareness, half asleep or something. This stuff happens to me all the time, i have a very dreamy feel but im aware of being in bed and im aware that im looking at my wall but there are other things going on around me, i always hear people and stuff but then when i wake up, its all gone.

try getting a flashlight and asking the ghost to turn it off, or better yet just ask him to turn your Xbox back on and off.

Aww! Please don't get the guy messing about with your electronics. If you should see him again, and if he asks for help again, ask him if he has someone -anyone, he loves very very much, who has passed away. If he says yes, then tell him to think of them with all the strength he has and to fill himself with love for them.
Then come away and leave him alone.

It was not the only strange thing that happened in my house.

When I was younger, I was really interested in paranormal things. And one day I walked into my room and had a strange feeling like I was not alone. I asked if there was somebody and if it could show itself. Than I counted down from 5 to 0 and my light bulb (1 of 3) burned out. This exact situation happened two times.

Some years later the dream of this topic happened.
Then somebody told me that you can ask spirits to leave, so I did that.
Nothing more has happened since the day I asked it to leave.

But I still think A lot about this things and I could never let it go. It still feels like I need answers, a part of me wants to know who or what it was(that is just human I guess).
