Sorry to hear about what happened to you. As a practitioner though, you should know that there are one or two things that may help you leave behind the negative emotions that you're engulfed in.
The first thing I would try is to do a working to accept the situation and move on - do it on the waning moon; and if your negative emotions are very strong you may have to repeat it. Another way is to do a working to release your negative emotions concerning the past relationship - again it would be best to do this on the waning moon.
Once you've got rid of the negative stuff then you can fill that void with positive, life-affirming, happy thoughts and emotions.
