Your question got me to thinking so I Googled it. Your tortoise is one of them on the list. Most are from the sea. I had no idea Koi lived that long!!

This is the only one I could think of that would fit a symbol of infinity.

Although they only live up to 60 years, for me it's the manatee. They are peaceful herbivores with no natural enemies. They harm nothing. They represent peace, which is timeless.
