A quick question

Hello everyone :)

So I been practicing doing readings on family and friends and I will see an image , hear a name, or something internal feelings and images.

I feel that some of it is just random and sometimes its very specific. I had one friend that I said the exact name first and last of a man that they knew but I knew a girl in with the same name. However the name after was a friend of this person or in that same group. I named names that they wanted to name there dogs. in order that they wrote on the paper the night before.

I find that the information is sometimes very accurate and sometimes just random stuff.

I knew that its not suppose to be 100 because nothing is. My question is how do you know that it isn't stuff your mind is recollecting from memories and stuff that is a message

For instance I knew a girl with that name, BUT they related to it because they knew a guy with that name.

Just a thought. I am new to readings and do see and hear internally and sometimes the images/internal voices are very accurate.

main question: How to tell if something is just random info in your mind from memories OR just a message.

I am open to the idea the the memoery is being shown because the same name may apply to that person in a different way.

i always ask my spirit guide to give me clarification on what I'm hearing,, so when I first ask for my guide I ask him for his calling card to know he is with me, when I see/hear/feel anything I ask him to clarify it by showing me my calling card, I ask up to three times to be clear, if I get the calling card 3 times then I know it's a definate yes... My calling card is my spirit guide touches my left cheek.. This is how he communicates with me at the moment

That's great to hear that you are enjoying doing readings! About knowing if a message is a true messages or just your own random though. I have 2 comments about that. The first one is (and it may not apply to you, depending on how you do your readings) that if you are deep enough in a meditative state then you will have no thoughts of your own. So then you know for sure that it's a spiritual message. The second thing is that if you have a certain question and you received an answer to but you are not sure if what you saw or heard was your own random thought, then you ask the same question again but this time with a twist. You specifically ask for an answer to the same question but say you want the answer beings given in an alternative way. And you can repeat this as much as needed.
