I've always just called them spirit energy. But I don't really know what they are, but they feel good.

I tend to be a little dubious about photographs of orbs though. When it was popular to photograph orbs, I was shown a phenomena of camera orbs. A guy showed one picture of an undisturbed bedrooms with only one orb - then he jumped on the bed for a while and took a second picture a minute later = a room full of orbs. What he showed was that the many apparent photographs of orbs, were a mixture of dust, light and camera tech.

Hi vitara,

my experience is that when you photograph orbs, the flash-function is of good help. I took photos in Egypt at sacred sites and found that without the flash they didn't appear as much on the photo, but with flash there was a lot of them. There are certain places where there seem to be more of them.

Not everything you see on a photo that appears as light-sphere or something similar is actually from another being, sometimes it's just the camera, lens-flare effects and other things of that category.

What you see as (real) orbs is a part of the electromagnetic field of another being, a certain outer part of it is a sphere and thus it appears on the photo as a ball of light. The beings are not that small as they may appear through the sphere.

The flash is a light contamination source. Dust and moisture close to the lens reflect and refract light from your flash, to create the orbs you see in the photo. Lens flare can also make orbs. I created orbs by trowing dust in front of the camera. when using the flash.

Best to avoid using the flash. The orbs may be rare, but the ones you do photograph, has a better probability of being paranormal.

Seeing lots of orbs during day and evening where we are in Mexico. They are landing on our balcony, lining up in rows. Translucent with small core in the middle, appear larger in the sky, beige or blue in distance.
