Are these auras?
Many times I see something like an "aura" surrounding objects. It's a bit like the vision you get when looking outside from a double glass window, if that makes sense, white-ish... I really can't explain well. It disappears almost immediately but if I stare on the edge and relax my eyes it usually appears again. I haven't tried it with people, I still find it more likely to be something my eyes make up. But yesterday I read about auras being actually visible, and I was wondering if it's that I see.

Sounds like the first auric layer. What most of us see first when learning to see aura's. Relaxed eyes and brain and with practice, more colors should fill in and going out from the body more.
