Buzzing/rattling/knocking near altar?
I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct place..?
A lot of the time, whenever I'm near my altar I hear this very quiet and slow buzzing or rattling sound. Or like if someone very small is tapping/knocking on the wall beside my altar. (rubbish explanation, I know)
That part of my room isn't above any furnace or machinery and it still wouldn't explain the noise.
I was just wondering if anyone else has things like that happen to them?

I've heard similar noises and one time it was a fly that was trying to get out of the space between the window and the screen, lol.

Eponalove, try recording the noise with your phone or other means. This would prove that [a] the sound is localised and [b] it is not tinnitus.

The sound is for sure localized, I know I don't have tinnitus. xD
And it's not a fly because it's been going on for months. :P I honestly can't explain it, and believe me, I've tried.

Is there any chance you can change the location of your altar - put it in a different room maybe? Then see if the sound turns up near your altar again when you have moved it.

I have considered that but no, I'm afraid that's not possible.
