I think i saw my Nan cross over.

My beautiful Nan Dorothy, lovingly known as Mamaa Dot, passed away on Christmas Eve 2010.
I had got the dreaded phone call from my Mum about 11pm that night to say she hadn't made it.
At about 1am I was outside just leaving my Parents house, it was a clear night, the stars were out.
There was only myself and my Dad outside, when I thought I heard him say something, at the exact same time, he thought that I had said something, but neither of us had said a word.
Then I heard a kind of "whoosh" sound and together with that sound saw a bright shooting star, but it didn't go across the sky, it seemed to go INTO the sky, it vanished, then there was silence again!
My Dad and I just sort of stood there in shock, staring at the night sky and asking each other "Did you see that!"
It was very strange, but I felt a sense of relief, a sense of calm, I'm certain that what we saw was my Nan crossing over into the realms of Heaven. :)
