Dyou think I should try astral projection? I feel trapped?

I feel trapped and imprisoned at home ( not literally) but I have very little freedom to go where I like
I'm old enough, im an adult

I want to experience astral projection if it would give me a sense of temporary freedom?

But I want to know:

-Does it feel real?
-Is it safe?
-How far can you travel without dying :/

Greeneyes--

A bunch of red flags go up when I read your request. If you are "old enough" and are an adult, what prevents you from gaining freedom? I don't exactly understand.

The second thing is that astral projection (or other non-sensory places) won't work as escape places--or, your experiences might bring you right back to the issues you face now. (Which might be alright!).

As to feeling real--it is a level of "real" we don't feel here. Once you experience that, you won't have questions that you have experienced it.

Yes, you are safe. But fears of all sorts--big and small--can create a not-fun experience, so it's important that you feel safe, protected and as un-fearful as you can if/when you attempt projection. We all have fears. Some is just what feels like the newness of the experience, even though we do it all the time, just without our physical consciousness. But that makes us kind of like babies, not knowing the rules of the road.

You will not die no matter where you "go". There are those who feel you are not "going" anywhere--just shifting your focus.

Everyone is different and it can take time to be successful.

But I would hope you would carefully evaluate what you want out of this and whether some of your needs can't be fulfilled in the life you lead.

Lora

I totally agree with IsleWalker.

Astral projection is like tuning your consciousness into another channel/dimension. We do this every night, only we don't control it and remember only dreams. It's totally safe.

In this other dimension your consciousness is in another set of physical rules and one of those rules is that you will see yourself in a place which is in accordance to how your consciousness "vibrates", meaning, the level of consciousness development/control you are in. That's why having a disturbed consciousness (fear, anger, resentment, etc) leads to unpleasant astral experiences.

So if your thought process and actions put you in a place where you feel trapped in this reality, in the astral dimension it is likely that you will find this too, but the problem will present itself in another form, where the physical rules are not as stable as the one we live in in our awake state.

I hope you overcome your hardships, regardless in which dimension you chose to deal with them!

Good luck!

I can't recommend AP (or anything else) for the purpose of escapism. Running away does not address the core situation.

AP is very safe. There can be some scary looking things that happen as one exits the first few times (not always). They are nothing to be concerned about.

It can be from dream-like to ultra realistic depending on your technique and energy level. Note that some 'planes' just don't look very 'real' if you have only experienced Earth.

People don't die from APing. One does go on permanent AP when the body dies, not the other way around.

One can travel extremely far, way beyond anything imagination can come up with.

Thankyou guys for your help and concern

I'd like to explain though. I am not intending to '' escape" any problem through AP.
I just need a moment of freedom where im free to go wherever.

I am not intending to escape my problems this way. Nor do I expect it to solve my problems.

It's simple as this. I want a moment of freedom.

Thanks alot for the help :)
Stay blessed x

Definitely. Do it. Does it feel real? In my experience it ranges from feeling 50% to 150% real. In the 150% case everything is much more vivid and real than anything I can experience in the everyday world. Combine that with the fact that you can do all kinds of things you can't ordinarily do, like joyride cars and rampage without getting imprisoned, fly, phase through walls, levitate objects with your mind, and even urinate through your finger. The latter is a skill I am quite proud of. It might be completely useless, but it looks pretty funny. If I could do this in the everyday world, I can picture myself sitting around a table with a group of superheroes demonstrating their superpowers. When its my turn to show what I can do, I say "I can do this". It might not be of much use in fighting villains, but it would look pretty damn cool. I suppose I could urinate on peoples shoes though, that would be bound to annoy the villains.

Anyway, my advice is do it.

You can begin by trying to have lucid dreams. I have managed to get myself started on lucid dreaming though I don't have it quite as often as I'd like. I can fly around pretty much anywhere I like, and do whatever I like. It's a feeling a freedom, definitely! :-)

From lucid dreams you can exit into astral projections too. It's just a step higher in level of awareness.
