The shadow
A dream I had and now place here Found it interesting.
The shadow
The shadow lays
Looking like an Egyptian dog of old
Then it makes it move
Passing me by without a glance
Running to two dogs
fighting over a piece of meat
It joins in the tussle
It leaves the struggle
Comes to me
Now a young man
Still in shadow
Holding a silver dagger
Ready to defend
Sensing my fear of it attacking
No malice does it have
No anger does it hold
Ready though for the fight
If chosen by me
I relax and so does the shadow
He speaks to me
Saying "I am always with you"
"Where ever you go, I will follow"
"You can not get away from me"
I feel this shadow to be nature
In its rawest form
It is of me and my survival
I am of it, for it is nature
