To In My Sight

Riddles in the Dark
Eyes Closed in the Night
All Sensations Gone
Soul Takes Flight

Hark to Broken Dreams
Might then Break the Seams
On & On the Sun Shines Beams
Light & Nothing is as it Seems

The Middle of The Veil

Enchanted on a Trail
Walking the Path
Moonless Sky, Clouds & Hail
Feeling a Rising Wrath
Within, a Sound, To Tell
Nothing but Silence Fell
Upon the Road, Wolves Growling
No Moon to be Howling at
Hunger Reigns this Forest
Heart Beating out of Chest
Run or Face this Test
Can't put this Head to Rest
Fight or Die
They were Nothing but Lies
Phantoms in the Darkness

The Quickening

I was out on the ocean
and then came in the kraken
put a crack in my vessel
like a hammer smackin my skull
now I have a leak in my soul
can't say how much this takes it's toll
can't say if I'll still be able to reach that goal
In my youth I dreamt of gold
now I'm at the table ready to fold
all my possessions given away and sold
Maybe I acted to bold and proud
Always wanted to be spotted in the crowd
My voice telling the punchline open and loud
Then came the Kurgen to take my head like MaCleod
