Hello from Grass Valley/Nevada City CA, where I, as a Catholic, was raised by a bunch of tree-hugging, guitar-playing, organic egg-laying hippies. And then some normal people who gave me internet. The combined effects of which cultivated an open-minded and beauty-seeking person like myself, obsessed with the spiritual realm, and the different ways people experience it. So please, tell me your stories. I'll gobble them up.

May I just say that I love your spirited enthusiasm? I'm also laughing at "Grass Valley" in context to "hippie"—there's a winning combination.
I could probably write pages about my own experiences, but I like to sit back, observe and enjoy others before offering my own. So, by all means, please share some of your own, or perhaps a brief summary!

I've never heard of Grass Valley/Nevada City and I've lived in CA all my life, but geography has never been my strong point :). Sounds like a lovely place though. Must be up North, where all the clean Air went .... Welcome!
