Hot Yoga
I do Hot Yoga, style Hatha, 4x a week.
The feeling you have when you are done is pure cleanliness.
I love it.

Hey there, just noticed your post and had to comment. I do yoga as my excercise of choice, and for a couple years was going to a class with a lovely lady here in Nova Scotia. There is a wood stove in her studio and most of the time there's been no fire. But one day she'd lit it just a while before the class and the room was warm and got warmer and I just couldn't stand it. Probably didn't help that I had a few hot flashes while there (I'm post meno.) which made it entirely unbearable for me. You must be younger than I and have a real liking for warmer weather.
I imagine that it does make 'warming' and stretching the muscles easier though than a cool room.

I've wanted to try hot yoga but I'm scared, only because I cannot tolerate heat while working out via yoga. I can sit in the sauna but I have issues with heat and working out. Do people have that feeling? Is it a false feeling? Also does it stink with sweat while you're doing it I know that's a weird question.
Spiritlite.
PS even when I'm doing yoga at home I have to strip down to the bare essentials because I hate to sweat, that's why my main excercise is swimming LOL

Be careful before attempted this........people have died going into sweat lodges.
I don't claim to know about hot yoga other than what I am reading and stating here but I'm just saying..........exercise caution or don't do it at all. IMHO

I watched Dr. Dwayne Dwyer talk about it and I taught myself yoga from a book, a 30-day program and I did it faithfully for many years and made me feel fantastic. When I heard about this "hot" yoga, I knew it was NOT for me. I overheat very easily, and very sensitive to weather that's too warm, so more power to you if it makes you feel good, but I don't think I'll be trying it out any time soon.
