I just watched that movie.

I was surprised that it began and was interspersed thru out the movie, how the government was on 'his case'.

I was surprised they mentioned at the beginning of the movie that the Germans had already split the atom.

For me: all I could think about was a job interview I went to a long time ago.
It was at a lab where they had 3 large lasers, seperated by 120 degrees and focused on some heavy water suspended in mid-air by a huge magnetic field. When the lasers would fire at the heavy water, it would cause a fission reaction. Oppenheimer was involved with fusion.
I didn't want the job because they were doing these experiments within the city limits.

During the movie, all I could think about is what would the outcome have been if I accepted that job.

I recently saw Modern Times (1936 American part-talkie comedy film produced, written and directed by Charlie Chaplin) on kanopy.com

Right now I'm looking at Metropolis on kanopy.com

Salvador Dalí: In Search of Immortality is pretty good.

I consider television, the cinema, the press, journalism as the most important modern media of degradation and cretinization of the masses, but I love using them, because from the practical point of view the more people follow Dali, the more expensive my paintings are and since this is so, I would be a complete idiot not to take advantage of them, that is all.
