[Unseeking Seeker]

We see feeble form decay
and death will soon have its way,
which makes tremulous heart sigh,
at our wasted life gone by.

Scriptures affirm God exists
but lingering doubt persists,
so we must see with our eyes,
the truth before body dies.

There are debts of love we owe,
best repaid before we go
and also we must forgive,
that in vibrance we may live.

We’re told we are living light.
Why then do we crouch in fright?
How may we imbibe wisdom,
that gets us to God’s kingdom?

Body dies yet soul lives on,
which if the truth, let us yawn,
because then life’s but a dream
of thought forms we choose to stream.

Such are the questions we ask
God, who’s equal to the task,
so He tells us and we pen
deep truths with our yen for zen.

Jueju

[Unseeking Seeker]

Witnessing what comes to senses five and mind,
befriending silence we extinguish desire,
whence leaving all imagined knowing behind,
from our heart’s core bursts forth a celestial fire.
There is no doer yet this doing is done,
our soul presence aflame like the central sun,
immanent and transcendent at the same time,
radiating bliss betwixt the cosmic chime.

The
throb of
bliss hums on
by day and night,
just like our heartbeat
as gift of God wondrous
but there’s no way to transmit
the sublime fragrance we imbibe,
thus we can at best portray in words,
love’s transcendental rapture felt within.

Such secrets divine, are veiled in plain sight,
thus as that both revealed and concealed,
needs mind of soul’s heart to cognise,
that the unknown becomes known
through outpourings of grace,
which we may invoke,
if heart be pure
and childlike,
trusting
God.

Be mindful of heart contractions
Wary of ego’s distractions
Discard doubt and fear we stand strong
As life rolls on, let’s sing our song

There’s nothing out there, all’s within
Go in hermit, go in, go in
Within heart resounds, God’s bliss gong

Stand firm and erect in life’s storm
We make our touch tender and warm
Leave none behind, take all along

The litmus test is always love
Discern oh hermit, right from wrong

Unshackling soul from our mind tree
Remove delusion with truth’s tong

[Unseeking Seeker]

Does heart yet secretly anticipate,
in as seek a scent it does remember,
thereby fanning desire to alter fate,
to prolong the flames of dying ember?

The rabbit hole of desire goes in deep,
which relates to cravings of body-mind,
so if we’re to take a consciousness leap,
we must leave all ego cravings behind.

Moment to moment, all moments entwined,
in the here and now, vibrant and carefree,
head and heart with whispers of love aligned,
we proclaim ourself as God’s devotee.

Desire exhumed by our mind discerning,
ignites flame of bliss, forever burning.

Sonnet

[Unseeking Seeker]

Softer than breath and gentler than our heartbeat,
are the waves of bliss that arise from within,
refrain of magnetism ushering cool heat,
distancing our presence from lust that births sin.
Embracing the beggar ignites this God spark,
deep in our heart that lets us see in the dark,
whence as we become the flame, that has no name,
we transform as living light, in life’s end game.
