Stepping into divine acceptance

Part 1:
Acceptance of the lower self can be accomplished much more rapidly when one no longer judges the external behaviour, qualities, and character traits of the lower self. In other words, coming to accept the lower self as it is can be made easier when one chooses to focus on the inner behaviour, qualities, and character traits of the soul or higher self.


Basically, remembering that everyone is a part of the Godhead leads one's mind to more easily accept everyone as already perfect in the vaster scheme of cosmic life. One can bypass the obstacles that block one's acceptance of others, including oneself, by staying in touch with the perfection which is an integral part of every life essence.


Short recap:
Acceptance is non-judgement of the lower self and the embracing of the higher self within the lower self.
Seeing perfection in others = seeing the soul or higher self in others.


Part 2:
Two different types of discernment / judgement:
There are two different ways of judging others. The first way that we can pass judgement on others is what I call judging with the eyes of criticism. The second way that we can pass judgement on others in a non-egotistical way is something called judging with the eyes of divine discernment.
To judge with the eyes of ciriticism is an act of the lower self and these type of 'eyes' are blind to the perfected state of every life essence.
Divine discernement is when one can dissect and seperate the imperfect, temporary, illusory state of the lower self from the higher self without engaging in lower self criticism.
Eyes of criticism = lower self act of judgement.
Eyes of divine discernment = higher self act of judgement.
When one judges with the eyes of divine discernment, an act of judgement does take place, but it is free of the venomous sting of malice and ill-intent.


Part 3:
Divine discernment is one's key to profound acceptance. Without being able to see what is perfect in a soul, one will always be faced with problems related to not being able to accept the imperfected lower self of the perfected or near perfect higher self. Thus, the beginning of profound acceptance is the ability to atleast recognize that there is a perfect self within every imperfect self.
Being able to accept the lower self and its flaws comes largely from being able to admit that there is more to the lower self than the lower self and its flaws. Behind every imperfect form is a perfect sphere of divine consciousness.
The essence of this teaching is : Being able to recognize the divinity or perfection of all makes it much easier to accept the less than divine, imperfect lower self of all.
